Dear President Obama: I have to admit it. My liberal friends were right....

They told me if I voted for McCain, the nation's Hope would deteriorate, and sure enough there has been a 20 point drop in the Consumer Confidence Index since the election, reaching a lower point than any time during the Bush administration.

They told me if I voted for McCain, the US would become more deeply embroiled in the Middle East, and sure enough tens of thousands of additional troops are scheduled to be deployed into Afghanistan.

They told me if I voted for McCain, that the economy would get worse and sure enough unemployment is approaching 10% and the new stimulus packages implemented recently have sent the stock market lower than at any time since 9-11

They told me if I voted for McCain, we would see more "crooks" in high ranking positions in Federal government and sure enough, several recent cabinet nominees and Senate appointments , LET ALONE the CHICAGO CRIMINALS, revealed resumes of bribery and tax fraud.

Well I ignored my Democrat friends in November and voted for McCain. And sure enough, they were right... all of their predictions have come true.

Dear President Obama: The evidence indicates you've lost your fricking mind.

The thought occurred to me in a rather frightening way, that you don't have someone like me at the table.

You don't have someone there who will look at you and tell you that what you want to do in a given situation, flat out, "stuck on stupid," wrong.

Or, as I would put it a bit more succinctly, "stupid... moronic... idiotic... irresponsible... short-sighted... damaging... dumber than a box of rocks... sheer, unadulterated idiocy."

As far back as the Ides of March with another tonedeaf leader in the past, EFFECTIVE leaders include those unimpressed with their positions, so they'll be told the truth.

The market is weighing in on your stupidity and interference, down almost 300 as I write this. Mr. President, you have no more idea on how to run GM then you do how to stop smoking... which, come to think of it, you ALSO don't know how to do... some example to our children YOU are.

How has GM stock responded to your arrogant idiocy? As of this writing, the stock is off 20%.

Now, Mr. President, companies around the world in all areas of business will be asking themselves: Am *I* going to get the call? Is this moron going to fire ME?

Mr. President, clearly, you know no more about running business then you do foreign policy. You're as clueless about this as you are the deficit.

And one thing I bet is this: You would never DARE fire the management of the autoworkers unions, would you?

Idiot.

Obama Outlines Plans for GM, Chrysler

WASHINGTON--Warning that they can't depend on unending taxpayer dollars, President Barack Obama on Monday gave General Motors Corp. and Chrysler LLC a brief window to craft plans that would justify fresh government loans.

[GM CEO Rick Wagoner] Associated Press

DETROIT IN CRISIS: The ouster of Rick Wagoner, shown at a February news conference, is a milestone in the state's intervention in the economy.

"We cannot, we must not, and we will not let our auto industry simply vanish," President Obama said at the White House.

"What we are asking is difficult," he said. "It will require hard choices by companies. It will require unions and workers who have already made painful concessions to make even more. It will require creditors to recognize that they cannot hold out for the prospect of endless government bailouts."

The remarks come a day after the administration ousted GM Chief Executive Rick Wagoner and rejected the restructuring plans that GM and Chrysler had hoped would lead to another infusion of government cash. Instead, the White House is giving GM 60 days to come up with a strategy for viability. Chrysler has a month to wrap up a partnership with Italy's Fiat SpA.

General Motors Corp. (GM) is expected to hold a news conference Tuesday morning to respond to the White House's rejection of the auto maker's restructuring plan, a person familiar with the plans said.

The administration says a "surgical" structured bankruptcy may be the only way forward for GM and Chrysler, and President Obama held out that prospect Monday.

"I know that when people even hear the word 'bankruptcy,' it can be a bit unsettling, so let me explain what I mean," he said. "What I am talking about is using our existing legal structure as a tool that, with the backing of the U.S. government, can make it easier for General Motors and Chrysler to quickly clear away old debts that are weighing them down so they can get back on their feet and onto a path to success; a tool that we can use, even as workers are staying on the job building cars that are being sold."

The firms, hobbled by the economic downturn and years of reliance on sport-utility vehicles, will receive an unspecified amount of working capital from the government while they hone their new plans.

Dear President Obama: Why haven't YOU stopped the flooding in Fargo?

This is a very good question.

My God, when New Orleans experienced sprinkles, the leftist scum out there DEMANDED to know what Bush had done something. They wanted to know why he hadn't redeployed National Guard troops from Iraq, brought in the entire US Navy, and how ANY of this could have happened.

Bush was blamed for EVERYTHING.

He was blamed for the hurricane itself by the leftist algorebots.

He was blamed for the condition of the dikes and levies.

He was blamed for the police looting the stores.

He was blamed for the mishandling of everything from prisoners to hospital patients.

He was blamed for every emergency failure imaginable... almost as if the states and cities hadn't existed as entities. New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagan's rampant bigotry and racism were immediately forgiven.

But to this day, we've not heard the end of New Orleans, including the moron set who actually told us that Bush had BLOWN UP THE LEVIES.

Now, Fargo is in the process of dissolving. Where are the media hounding you?

How come they're not dogging you like they did Bush?

How come all those concerns expressed by your fellow leftist loons when Bush was in office are unheard of now?

HOW COULD YOU HAVE LET THIS HAPPEN?

Is THIS the Change we're supposed to believe in?

Why hasn't Bambi saved Fargo?

So, apparently Fargo has been flooding. News to me. Supposedly, the Red River rests around 13' - and is now over 40' and looking to crest. I've seen a few photos - flooded streets, destroyed houses, etc. Terrible, terrible stuff.

But you know what? I'm a little ticked off with the citizens of Fargo. I mean, my god man - quit trying to steal the thunder out from the Hurricane Katrina victims. This year is about CHANGE. We VOTED IN OBAMA. Don't come crying to us with your sob stories about ineffectual government prevention of natural disasters. We only pull that shit on Republicans.

We all know that within a day or two, Obama is going to fly in on his magical unicorn and use his superpowers to pull them out of whatever predicament they're in. At least, that's what he promised us in his campaign speeches. And Democrats always tell the truth.

I mean, it IS the President's job to prevent this sort of thing, isn't it? We absolutely reamed Dubya for it, right? So, where's Bambi and his endless supply of FEMA teams? Heck, where's Kanye West accusing the President of hating white people (Fargo IS primarily white, isn't it?) Isn't Bambi's complete inaction ABSOLUTE PROOF of his clear and overt racism? Or is that just asinine in and of itself?

You might think I'm being facetious - but I'm really not. Now, granted, I gave up following the news for Lent, so I haven't really been paying attention - but this is actually the very first I've ever even HEARD of flooding trouble in Fargo, threatened levees, etc. And I can't help but wonder why.

When it was New Orleans, you couldn't flip through the channels without getting at least four of them reporting on A) the terrible calamity about to occur; and B) the failure of the Executive Branch to do anything about it (even though it's not their job.) Today, the Top Stories on MSNBC are with regard to the Space Shuttle and (I shit you not) "Diners can 'have a ball' at testicle festival." Front page at the New York Times? Immigration and health care. The headline on Yahoo's front page is about Miley freakin' Cyrus. Where are the 24-7 live-feed videos of the floodwaters over people's homes? Where are the left-wing celebrities decrying the failure of the federal government?

Don't you find it just the least bit odd that when floodwaters are rising and people are in jeopardy, that the nation, the president, and media outlets are suddenly silent - when only less than half a decade ago, people wanted to see someone from the national administration hang for it?

Why is it that when people's homes and lives are threatened by natural disaster, it's OK to blame Republicans for it; but when it's a Democrat sitting in the big chair, we barely even know it's happening? To add insult to injury is the fact that your fledgling, doe-eyed president made so much reference to the "suffering of New Orleans" in order to gain the pity vote. Yet, I don't see him out there bailing water with a bucket, do you?

"Change," he said. Yet, from where I'm sitting, it looks like exactly the same thing.

Dear President Obama: More lies: "Electricity rates would necessarilly have to skyrocket." But you didn't say that last night.

MORE lies, Mr. President?

During the campaign, you said:

The problem is not technical, and the problem is not sufficient mastery of the legislative intricacies of Washington.

The problem is can you get the American people to say this is really important and force their representatives to do the right thing? That requires mobilizing a citizenry. That requires them understanding what is at stake, and climate change is a great example.

When I was asked earlier about the issue of coal…under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket…even regardless of what I say about whether coal is good or bad, because I’m capping greenhouse gasses, coal power plants, natural gas…you name it…whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, they would have to retro-fit their operations. That will cost money…they will pass that money on to the consumers. You can already see what the arguments are going to be during the general election. People will say Obama and Al Gore …these folks...they're going to destroy the economy.

This is going to cost us 8 trillion dollars or whatever their number is. If you can’t persuade the American people that, yes, there is going to be some increase on electricity rates on the front end, but that over the long term, because of combinations of more efficient energy usage and changing light bulbs and more efficient appliances, but also technology improving how we can produce clean energy that the economy will benefit.

If we can’t make that argument persuasively enough, you can be Lyndon Johnson. You can be the master of Washington. You’re not gonna get that done.

The problem is that you said something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT last night:

When it comes to cap-and-trade, the broader principle is that we've got to
move to a new energy era, and that means moving away from polluting energy
sources towards cleaner energy sources. That is a potential engine for economic
growth.

I think cap-and-trade is the best way, from my perspective, to achieve some of those gains, because what it does is it starts pricing the pollution that's being sent into the atmosphere.

The way it's structured has to take into account regional differences. It has to protect consumers from huge spikes in electricity prices. So there are a lot of technical issues that are going to have to be sorted through.

Mr. President, it seems that in every day... in every way, more of your lies are coming to the surface.

Isn't it about time for you to stop?

Dear President Obama: Your lies on the deficit just... keep... coming.

I may have mentioned a word... or two... or thousands... concerning the lies and the deficit and the Intergenerational Indebtedness Act and the TRILLIONS in debt you've burying us under.

Mr. President, when you told us you would "cut the budget deficit by half before the end of your term," you were, again, LYING.

During YOUR campaign... you REPEATEDLY fired at President Bush over his irresponsibility due to his Budget Deficits.

Well, here's a simple graphic that lays it all out. Here's a simple picture that shows how you're working SOOOOOO hard to destroy our economy:

Even presuming that your rather self-serving numbers are correct (and while there is a great number of reasons why YOU would lie, there does not appear to be all that many for the CBO to lie) the horrific damage YOU will do to this country under EITHER scenario cannot be overstated.

Mr. President, You're a reasonably bright guy... for a child of Affirmative Action and the "subtle racism of low expectations."

Are you SURROUNDED by sycophants? Is there ANYONE around you with the balls to tell you you're out of your fricking MIND? Do you have SOMEONE, ANYONE there to keep you off Fantasy Island?

Do you GET that these are OUR LIVES YOU'RE SCREWING AROUND WITH?

We were all better off when you were mainlining whatever it was when you were smoking that dope.

Under your scenario, the value of the dollar will likely be crushed. We risk hyper-inflation, and because of your inability to get past your fringe-left wing neanderthal political perspective, we will be paying unheard of amounts for energy... even though the use of our current energy stores SHOULD be a priority as part of a COMPREHENSIVE energy program, including fossil, hydro, wind, solar and tide to MAKE US ENERGY SELF-SUFFICIENT.

How much is a gallon of gasoline going to cost us; if we can find such a thing; under YOUR "brilliant" handling of the economy, and your rank, amateur handling of foreign policy? (What have YOU done to sell out Poland today?)

Mr. President, both Russia AND China are going to make efforts to ditch the dollar as the international reserve currency.

And who can blame them?

As horrifying as that thought is to me, personally, your colossal MISHANDLING of our economy in such an amazingly short time makes their efforts the ONLY logical outcome.

Imagine... China, which at $2 TRILLION holds the most foreign exchange reserves, is beating down the value of those same dollars by making these observations internationally... does so knowing full well that the drop of the value of the dollar by ONE CENT represents the drop of the value of their reserves by that same 1/100th... or TWENTY BILLION DOLLARS.

But China, like everyone else, looks at their piles of paper and they ask themselves this question: With a clueless moron running the American economy, what is this pile of paper going to be worth when he's done?

Mr. President, these people are clearly voting with their feet. If THEY see a light at the end of the tunnel, they believe, as does the CBO and most other people not in love with the neo-com philosophy, that it's attached to a train.

OTHERWISE, they'd be digging in for the long hall, KNOWING that they'll come out much farther ahead if they just hang on to their dollars until we get this ship you're working overtime to capsize, righted.

Thank you SO much for setting us up for disaster, Mr. President. While you're doing a DAMNED fine job on your promise of "CHANGE," you are TOTALLY screwing the pooch on the "HOPE" part of your platform of lies.

Idiot.

Dear President Obama: Here's the Cliff's Notes on your lobbyist lies.

Mr. President, your shameless lies are right up there with your shameless incompetence.

I've already dough-popped you on the issue of your rank lies over hiring lobbyists for positions in your Administration. It was just one of many lies you spewed to get elected, but I thought I'd take this opportunity to provide the Cliff's Notes version for easy reference.

BTW, Mr. President? It's NOT that you hired lobbyists. After all, lobbyists are not the same thing as "dope-smoking fly bait," and YOU were hired as PRESIDENT!

No... it's that, like on so many other things, you felt compelled to lie to us about it. And that sir, ain't EITHER the Hope, OR the Change we were told we were going to get.

This is where Republicans in the Pacific NW can come to share ideas, news and of course read those of our distinguished stable of contributors

Candidate Obama:

"I have done more to take on lobbyists than any other candidate in this race - and I've won. I don't take a dime of their money, and when I am President, they won't find a job in my White House."

National Journal:

a National Journal look at 267 Obama nominees and appointees found that at least 30 — or about 11 percent — have been registered lobbyists at some point during the past five years.

Among them are some top officials: Attorney General Eric Holder was registered as a lobbyist at Covington & Burling as recently as 2004; Tom Vilsack, the former Iowa governor who is Obama's Agriculture secretary, was a registered lobbyist for the National Education Association in 2007; Ron Klain, chief of staff to Vice President Biden, was a lobbyist at O'Melveny & Myers until 2004; and David Hayes, deputy secretary of the Interior, was a lobbyist at Latham & Watkins through 2006.
