Dear President Obama: A crisis that YOU'RE making worse is a "time of great opportunity?"

Mr. President, your utter cluelessness never ceases to amaze.

We're in a "crisis," all right, and you're doing your damnedest to take every opportunity for advantage from the idiots that don't see you as you truly are, to remake America in your socialist image.

You ignorantly view the stock market as some kind of political poll; you're doing everything you can to rob those of us who've turned themselves into something out of nothing; you intend to slash Defense spending in the middle of a war; you're taking deliberate steps to cost millions of Americans their retirement and you're burying us under an entire mountain range of debt, all under the guise of your income redistribution plans.

You and your fellow leftists have done everything you can to talk down the economy so you could get elected. Now you've BEEN elected, and you can't stop yourself.

The Congressional Budget Office has determined that your actions have been harmful. What have you accomplished?

Arterial bleeding of our economy; major foreign policy screwups, corrupt cabinet choices, lies from your campaign...

Your are setting this country on an increasingly bleak course. Your obvious incompetence weakens the one critical element all leaders MUST have... and that is the confidence of those you are leading.

For many hiding in the midst of there self-delusion, your rock star personna has kept you high in the polls. But as your Carteresque incompetence grows... that will pass, and the reality of the huge con job that is you will begin to dawn on even your most ardent supporter.

The only question is this: will you have succeeded in destroying this country first?

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama on Saturday challenged his country to see its hard times as a chance to "discover great opportunity in the midst of great crisis."

"That is what we can do and must do today. And I am absolutely confident that is what we will do," Obama said in his weekly radio and video address, taped a day earlier at the White House.

The work week ended on more down news, with the report of 651,000 more American jobs slashed and an unemployment rate climbing to 8.1 percent. That is the highest rate of people out of work in more than 25 years, as the recession continued to put enormous pressures on families and industries.

Obama recapped the work of the latest hectic week in his young presidency. His goal was to reassure the country that he and his team are taking specific steps to create jobs in the short term and begin to address huge issues such as health care.
